Students are asked to develop research skills and methods using the location as a starting point for the investigation and creation of a body of research work. They are then encouraged to explore and develop their research work through a diverse range of approaches and treatments and through the manipulation of traditional and non-traditional materials. They are then asked to publish a dynamic archive online containing all video, audio, photographs, drawings and site-specific research and artwork.
We would like to thank Lisa Moran from Irish Museum of Modern Art for providing site and studio facilities for 1st year staff and students in Studio 9+10 over the 12 weeks of research work at Irish Museum of Modern Art
